"GOOD NEWS" BROADCASTING SINCE 1994

Welcome to the online home of our former television "Good News" magazine - Crossroads Magazine™.

After 17 years of "Good News" programming, production of Crossroads Magazine came to an end in November 2011.  With limited and dwindling resources, Father John had to make a difficult decision to cancel Crossroads Magazine, another victim of the poor U.S. economy.  The final program was broadcast on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. on WCCT-TV Channel 20, and presented a retrospective look at 17 years of "Good News" programming.

About Crossroads Magazine™

PHILOSOPHICAL FOUNDATION

There are good things happening every day in our neighborhoods and communities.  Relationships are being built through caring, concerned, self-giving people whose good news stories are not necessarily being told on commercial television news.

Crossroads Magazine™ tells these stories.

God is met through the ordinary and extraordinary people we meet on the crossroads of life.  In school, at work, while shopping for groceries; anywhere... anytime... on any crossroad, you can meet people who bring a touch of the presence of God.

These are the stories we tell.

Crossroads Magazine™, was co-hosted by Father John Gatzak and Stephanie Valickis and produced by the Office of Radio & Television.  It was a half-hour "Good News" magazine-style program. This program focused on the good things that were going on in our neighborhoods and the people who were making them happen. It was ecumenical in nature but maintained a Catholic perspective, with priority given to church events on a diocesan and local parish level. It informed, enlightened, educated and entertained its audience for 17 years.
