"GOOD NEWS" BROADCASTING SINCE 1994Welcome to the online home of our television "Good News" magazine - Crossroads Magazine™. After 17 years of "Good News" programming, production of Crossroads Magazine™ came to an end in November 2011. With limited and dwindling resources, Father John had to make a difficult decision to cancel Crossroads Magazine, another victim of the poor U.S. economy. The final program was broadcast on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. on WCCT-TV Channel 20, and presented a retrospective look at 17 years of "Good News" programming. But now, after nearly a year off air, we’ve decided that there are so many good works happening in and out of the Archdiocese of Hartford, that we just had to get back to work. So we are bringing back Crossroads Magazine in a mini sized version, for now. Hopefully, we’ll be able to garner enough financial support to bring Crossroads Magazine back to its original time and length. Until then, we will be periodically sharing the same time slot as That’s the Spirit. So join us for the premier of the all new mini Crossroads Magazine on November 11, 2012… as we bring you the people, personalities and events making news around the Crossroads of Connecticut. If you have questions or comments about Crossroads Magazine™ please e-mail us at programming (no attachments please).
About Crossroads Magazine™
About Crossroads Magazine™
Crossroads Magazine™, was co-hosted by Father John Gatzak and Stephanie Valickis and produced by the Office of Radio & Television. It was a half-hour "Good News" magazine-style program. This program focused on the good things that were going on in our neighborhoods and the people who were making them happen. It was ecumenical in nature but maintained a Catholic perspective, with priority given to church events on a diocesan and local parish level. It informed, enlightened, educated and entertained its audience for 17 years.
